Hollywood Sundays 124: Mercenaries Of Leisure

I had the chance to see Deadly Prey in a theatre last night. Thrilling. It wouldn’t be lying to say that every single minute of this movie is life changing. If you ever dreamt of seeing an oiled up dude in tight jean shorts taking out an army of confused mercenaries in the outskirts of Los Angeles, good news, nirvana is only one full movie on Youtube away. The score is brilliant too.

Another thing I saw at the theatre last night is this clip. Nice timing on the French shit. Maybe whoever made this movie (and the song!) should be president. Keep it au-delà des limites if you know what I mean. I’m voting. Only my grandmother was French though. I’m not voting.

Speaking of off limits action, all kinds of limits are crossed in this Sly joint I also discovered last night. Everything on this video is insane weird and amazing. The over-age thugs are hilarious, Sly is slapping dudes with a parking meter he tore out of the concrete and wearing mad ankward clothes (that profile shot of him when his boys are driving away is traumatizing). Also he smacks a whole gang of dudes with a car. Only he’s not driving the car, he’s bare-handedly pushing it to bone-crushing results (nice sound fx btw).

It’s Sunday? This Lofty305 love ballad produced by Shawn “Lil Ugly Mane” Kemp is so Sunday.

Sunday bonus: I unearthed the Win in The Movies mixtape from the Heathen archives. Call it the 720p Bluray rip.
