November 26th 2011 – Playing music at the porno movie theatre in Lausanne!
Sleazy Time Square is back…in Lausanne! That’s right The Deuce is now located in Geneva’s frenemy town and there’s a party going on. 3 screens, private booths, and a whole lot of scandalous shit. I heard my uncle Oliver MG gonna be there too. Also, there’s a “show” happening on stage while I’m deejaying. You do the math. Wear a 42nd st. derelict costume if you want.
November 5th 2011 – The Genevan Heathen, DJ Raze, and possibly friends in the world capital of pretzels: Bienne, Switzerland
You in the Building? I’M AT THE FUCKIN BRETZEL KONIG BOOTH AT THE TRAIN STATION! What do you know about Bienne? They have great pretzels, a good hockey team, smoke machines more dangerous than the smoke monster, a super awesome crew called Earskills, and I think WTF of Toast Terry secretely lives there. Also this pretzel done made you thirsty. Who’s laughing now?
And I own a similar pretzel.
July 1st 2011 – The Genevan Heathen welcomes Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team and TANZ/TANZ at club Silencio
It’s Suchardhouse summer school with Teki Latex & Orgasmic as Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team and freshmen TANZ/TANZ. Did I say school? I meant vacation! It takes place Friday July 1st at club Silencio in the infamous Pâquis area of the glorious town of Geneva. Whoa this website doesn’t exist yet but it already lists events and interesting things to do, it’s like traveling time without the time travel!
July 1st to 9th 2011 – Oliver MG & The Genevan Heathen @ NIFFF 2011
The Heathen and longtime friend Oliver (founder of legendary Swiss label Mental Groove) will be playing movie music at this year’s edition of NIFFF aka Neuchâtel’s horror/sf/cult/bizarre movie festival. So y’all get to watch Maniac, Re-Animator, Basket Case, Street Trash, Driller Killer, and Evil Dead just to name a few, and then get a drink at the festival’s lounge and listen to music…from the same movies! Best believe Genevan will be rocking an insane collection of t-shirts from Fright Rags.
August 13th 2011 – Oliver MG & The Genevan Heathen as Mental Groove & Villa Magica aka The Mental Villa with a Magical Groove orchestrate La Machine à Clips @ Cinétransat, Perle du Lac, Geneva
I’m not really sure what that is but we’re playing movie clips and music videos and 80s cheesiness, 90s amazingness and all kinds of I have no idea what. Here’s the selling point though: it’s on the lake! Well pretty much. You’re in the building? We’re at the movie theatre which happens to be outdoor at the lake! Oh and there’s fireworks that night. Obviously.
